Cold Winter Offshores

Good day of surf today. Started out slow with the wind onshore and just windswell peaks. Then the wind switched to a "Cold Winter Offshore" and the waves picked up with the tide push.

Eric V on a backhand one before the wind switched.

Peaks up and down the beach.

I liked this shot due to the angle. to bad it is way out of focus. It was way to cold to shoot from the water.

Two long sessions, Two 4/3 wetsuits, three boards, and a super good time. Ended up riding a old mid length shaped by Greg Giddings back about 10 years ago. As the tide dropped this board was the ticket. A big delaminated bubble in the nose from the car dash still does not slow this one down.
