Fly be free

My neighbor Sherry raises and studies Butterfly's which is cool for my family inthat we live behind them. My kids get a real kick, Sherry has taught them to find the eggs and how to hatch the butterfly's. The best part for my kids is when its time to let them go "Fly be free".

Crabby

"Crabby" conditions today, The clouds and wind are once again back and the swell was marginal.
Best wave of the am. A feww fun ones when they came.

Under a rainbow

"Under the rainbow" this AM offered a varity of conditions. As the wind held off for a window so did the waves. Still fun to get wet after a week of sub par conditions.

Sun at my house and rain at the beach for awhile.

Water had a nice green color when the sun was peaking thru the clouds.

Rode my keel fish.

Strange days

The last two days I have managed to get wet in some pretty bad conditions. Camera problems to losing my camera at Malibu yesterday afternoon wind session. Today some sun, some south wind, some sw wind to northwest winds and rain. Some area had lots of rain. Managed to sneak in a quick afternoon session at Blackies. "These are some "Strange Days" I managed to get a new camera today replacing the old but decided to keep it on the land. I will wait for things to clean up before I get the new one wet. Oh and the highlight was getting snaked by a windsurfer yesterday. Thats what I get for going out in th 30 mph + winds.

Remember your first?

Do you "remember your first" fish or barrel? There is nothing better than to see the look of the first time on someones face. My son Chile above who turned three last week caught his first fish today. Stoked for life.

Weekend in Catalina.
