Saturday day fever

Another day of NW wind swell. The winds were better than yesterday. Some good lefts and rights.
hey man are you leaving.

Medium Kona coffee and a glazed crumb please.

Tha masses were out early, causing blackball a little after 9:00am

Hey Jeff you going to Dano's show tonight ? Were is it at ? The Hurleys warehouse on Placenta in Costa Mesa. What should I wear Matt ? I think some tight jeans and some cool high tops. Hey Jeff dont forget to put some of that gel in your hair. Ok Matt I see you there about 6:00pm.

Not only was it hot out the water temp was above 70. You cant beat that.

Even with all the people there were still some unriden ones. Very few.

Blackball

Today we still had some NW wind swell in the water. South wind gave it a bump but it was still fun. You can tell what the weekend is going to like, the "Black Ball" went up at 9:30. See everyone tomorrow. After 9:30 they forced everyone down to the jetty Jim Coons corner.

Searching

Sreve H on his Wayne Lynch single fin.

South sets and NW windswell. There was some fun ones but the south winds kept it from being real good.

I rode my 6"-0 five fin bonzer

Went "searching" and ended up logging a second session. Fun but conditions still not allowing what it could have been

Sunny side up

Most of the time I am the one with the camera. This time I am on the other side.
Jeff Wroe with a nice nose tuck. Click photo to enlarge and enjoy. You can tell he is glad the sun is out.

I thought this photo was pretty cool. Somtimes when the camera is on auto drive you get frames that are unexspected.

A really good view of the design with the concave off the bonzers.

This is my 5'-8" Bumble Bee. My normal length of a shortboard is 6'0 to 6'-3". This board being short is a great change up. The thickness is 2 13/16" which makes up for the loss in length.
