Dance with the Queen

Locals camp at Rincon Yes Rincon in July.

Had to work up north did not exspect much and I was very surprised.

Super fun waist + sets and very few people. Actually had a hard time shooting . Most the people were learning. But they all were very stoked.

I was doing laps. And when I was paddling back out there was loads of unriden ones like thois.

The indicator and rivermouth had some fun ones.

Not to bad of a line up for July 31st.

I met this guy and his kids from Simi Valley. They were out on soft boards and just having a great day.

Broken Reccord

Had a quick session before work. Seemed like a "Broken Record" Same south wind , Same cast of characters, Same wind swell , And same spot. Indeed a strange summer.

All in all it was fun. The wind swell picked up a bit from yesterday.

Jason took out his short board which convinced me to ride my 5'-9" quad. It was a little tough with the crowds, but I managed to get a few fun ones. Jason here on a nice smooth backside lipper.

Pointless

Point in the AM

Started the Am at the point hoping for a repeat of yesterday No such luck south wind and SE pulse gone. Seemed "Pointless"

When out for a few at the point with Dick M. Hoping the tide push would help.

Ended the am up at kiddy pools or today could be called shark tank.

The tide push focused the wind swell for about 2 hours. only 1 to 2 foot but still fun.

Rode my log for awile

Started the day riding my trusty 5 fin switch to my quad and ended with the log. 10 fins total.

Dont get caught sleeping

Well if you slept in you missed a surprise pulse. Yes there were some overhead. Had a little wind on it but still alot of fun.

Nice lipper from this kid. This kid was surfing real smooth for his age.

No surf for me today. Started early at work and ended late. The highlight was this car the architect I am working with on this project showed up with.

Sunshade to protect from the 100 degree + heat

I poured a sedementry art wall. The heat just killed me . I need surf tomorrow. Hope all of you got it good today.
