Today i started out the AM driving around Newport but the South wind distoyed any hope of getting some good waves. So when the afternoon came around I decided to go to an old secrete spot which is a fickel little nook. This is a view from the cliff.
The depth of water is from about 6" to 2'0 at the highest tides. Today the tide was only 5'0 . Some were sketchy.
Some hit the reef real nice.
i called my friend Eric Fritz to join me. It is not a place you like to surf alone.
Eric on the reef.
This is the entry to the spot. Keeps the Rif Raf away.
Nice way to cap off the day.
