Surfed the Bu today. It was small but I was told it was one of the bigger days in a long time. They dont see any of the west wind swells that have dominated this summer. This photo is the typical classic nose ride.
The direction of swell was good even being so small.
The classic Bu wall. Look at how straight the top of that wave is.
I got this photo walking down on my way out. A really good log cutback.
Yes it was crowded at times. The guy in the back is named Jimmy who is the top gun of the Ventura Surf Club. A really nice guy. Maybe to nice.
