The Bee Hive

Bumble Bee ready for takeoff. I like how the tail looks in this photo.
This board is 5'-8" 2 13/16" thick. A great board in the quiver to sakte around in the small stuff.

Real quick go out today before work. Small with cold spots. Real cold.

Midlength Grin

Started out early today which was a great chioce.
Mark the Green Architect. Cool guy and real good surfer. Riding his 6'6" 4 fin.

Swell angle was real good today. Rode my 7'-9" Hull which was the perfect choice. Had some unreal down the line waves that put a "Midlength Grin" on my face.

The Am was greeted with negitive low tide. Made for some nice walls.

Steve on the Klaus Hull.

Yes it was early.

A Hull lot of Snakes

Surfed my 7'-9" mean green Andrini Hull today. Had a blast even though it was small. This board is real flat and can keep up with most of the loggers. So when I am not in the mood to log and it is to small to shortboard this is a fun choice.
This is a sequence from the Hull Snake Cam.

Notice the 7'9" Andrini hull caught up to them in no time.

I was telling this guy to bend his " knees. Huh?

Nice summer day with all my friends. There was "A HULL LOT OF SNAKES " out there as always

Christmas Wave

No surf for me today. Water got cold and wind was on it early. Thinking of riding my 7'9" Andrini hull tomorrow.

Timing is everything.

Matt Albers on a nice left at Old Mans. The south had some pulses that made it worth the drive.
Left overs from Hurricain Dean. Nice rain dump before we got there to clear out the crowds. What a beautiful afternoon sky.

The Am had wind and small surf. There was a point when the wind backed down and the surf was fun. I guess "Timing is everything"

The waits were long but the day was nice.

Afternoon of glide. If you dont have a long Glider in your quiver you are mising out. Perfect selection for the afternoon.

Why Not

Rode my M Junod single fin again today.
Summer Bloom.

This was one of the bigger sets. Small and shape was marginal. You had to pick off the corners. It was one of those weekend days you could drive around thinking the next spot would be better only to end up surfing were you started out. Or you just park put on your wetsuit and paddle out with the "Why Not" attitude.

Chris Craven is one of Newports most under rated surfers. He was one of the quiet rippers back in the 80's and is still ripping today. He has a real smooth stlye similar to Tom Curren.

Little high tide beach break waves.

Green Flag

Summer of the "Green Flag"
South wind backed off today allowing for some clean little peaks.

Some of the bigger sets were a little walled.

Rode my single fin. Works great in these kind of conditions.
