CUTBACK PHILOSOPHY 101

Today's surfing promotes big airs and trick moves which is cool in itself, but the lost art of a good bottom turns or cutback should never be forgotten. Fins on surfboards are not just to generate speed to take flight, but are there to hold and redirect utilizing the waves natural forces. This photo is a good example of what I mean.

I must say i'm so tired of watching guys go into tail slides after every
minor redirection of a cutback.
The turn itself has become secondary.
The Knox cutback is one example of a nice cutback and he'll even do the slide thang too sometimes.
VARIETY!!!!
All this fins free stuff is a bit much.
Personally I like the look of a "fluid drive".
