Halloween 2009 Blackies Classic

Fridays Sunrise

No surf for me today to much work and my kids Halloween Parade but I managed to get down to see the start of the day. A nice sunrise always puts me in a good mood.

Getting Colder

A nice cold snap following the winds. Snow making in the local mountains and hoods on the head. J Hall laying into a nice bottom turn on a 7'0 Liddle point breaker at the beach break Later I met up with Kyle Albers for a lunch hull session.

Windswept

Clear and crisp with some windswept wind swell. Just not enough wind for a long enough time to keep them coming. The few that made it through were pretty nice.

Sloppy Tuesday

Sloppy Tuesday lived up to all the reports the only positive was there were very few that made the paddle. I actually had a few fun ones towards the pier. I guess it cant always be pitcher perfect.

little "Liddle"Monday

I will try to make sense of todays post: I surfed little Blackies on a new Liddle and watched J Hall get the wave of the day on a old Liddle while thinking about all the Liddles's I saw at KP's this weekend. By the way thanks KP for driving to Ventura for me. Surf On
