John and I both had Hurleys. Mine wasThee best thruster i ever had. wish i knew where it was. He was a big Horan and Joe Engel fan which is why he went single. That whole McCoy single finner crew were the shit also. Gothard was a surf god. 2 words...wave knowledge. JR is in NYC now.
I think that Hurley Thruster is under my house in Manoa. 5'9" or 5'10" shaped in 1981 by Bob. Squash tail with boxed trailer fin. Blue rails. IPD logo. Super fat, abotu 20 inches wide
