A lost art. Shapers with the experience to shape a gun for juice. The ability of the top pros to ride boards 7'-0 and under in real waves has taken away from the need for the classic guns. I still love to watch this shape be ridden in good waves. You can still go to Mainland Mexico and the Islands and see this shape in motion. Hope we never forget.

i have never, nor most certainly will i ever surf waves that demand a board like that, but i love to look at those boards and imagine how they would ride in waves of consequence. those classic guns have something really elegant but intimitating.
