Marc Andreini

I received a comment from a fellow blogger, baldingboarder to check out the cool history of surfer / shaper "Marc Andreini. Look up Goleta surfing, http://www.goletasurfing.com/ and they have posted a nice pictorial illustrating the history of Marc Andreini. Thanks Baldingboarder for the info.

Hullington Beach

Only shape I found in the area was at the pier. Rode the hull which loved the fat sections. You would think with the contest going on it would have been a nightmare but it was the opposite. Some uncrowded waves by the apartments.

Stubbie and mid streets

Ended up at mid streets to find more shape. Rode my 6'3" stubbie to make it interesting.

Fin 911

"Fin 911" hangs on the malibu wall in case of emergency. I guess one fits all.

A few phone calls telling me I was at the wrong spot. I didnt have a choice do to work up in LA. Still had fun even though I missed the pipes.

Reef and Rules

Reef session at a beach that you access thru a private gate, (keys for the residents of the adjoining neighborhoods). Very fickle wave usally just a novilty. The reef does help to break up the SW walls. " Reef and Rules"

This years opening day of The Call to the Wall was greeted by a "Noce bump" in swell and good conditions.
