A Little Reef

Surfed "Alittle Reef" to break up the lined up south west swell. The beach breaks had some waves but the corners looked hard to find.
The other plus is no week end crowds.

Favorable winds

And some fun peelers.

old school

Shot from Greg liddle site. Surfboards are like cars, Thier shape and style defines a period in time. Some boards never loose there appeal just like certain makes of cars.

A Lost Art.

A lost art. Shapers with the experience to shape a gun for juice. The ability of the top pros to ride boards 7'-0 and under in real waves has taken away from the need for the classic guns. I still love to watch this shape be ridden in good waves. You can still go to Mainland Mexico and the Islands and see this shape in motion. Hope we never forget.

Barack Obama on Offshore Oil Drilling

Someone is in town speaking regarding offshore oil drilling. I dont like to get political however this is a important issue.I suggest we take the time and listen.

Contrast

Complete "Contrast" to last week. Just a few out enjoying some low tide runners. Was nice to run the 6'3" without a crowd to deal with.

Dirty hull pipe

Another day of southy point style. However a few good drops was to much for the OLY camera. No photos and the camera which was my backup might be done for good. So I leave you with a post of a "Dirty hull pipe" Hope you all are enjoying the good waves. Photo of Brad taken by Sean. Great Shot.

6'3" Liddle Musgo I refer to as "DubStub" Modified photo from Warmjet+

open 24 hrs

Big moon and swell and a glow stick equals "open 24hrs"
